Citizens Academy

Citizens AcademyThe City of Beavercreek is excited to announce that the city is now offering a Citizens Academy, a six-week program that offers behind-the-scenes access to city programs and services. This program provides an excellent opportunity for Beavercreek residents and business owners to learn about city departments and divisions and how they operate.

In-person classes will be held Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. and will run from August 24 through September 28, 2023. Each class will focus on a different city department or division, including finance, engineering, public service, parks, planning and development, police, and more. The sessions are interactive and include activities such as facility tours, exploring equipment, and demonstrations.

The academy is free of charge, and all Beavercreek residents and business owners are invited to participate. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible as space is limited. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about how the City of Beavercreek operates and how you can get involved in making Beavercreek an even better place to live and work!
