Community Engagement/Crime Prevention

Committed to service excellence, the Beavercreek Police Department maintains an active Community Engagement unit that assists citizens, businesses, schools, associations, service organizations, and various other groups in Beavercreek with community events and activities, and provides education and training opportunities on crime prevention, security and safety.  A component of our Special Services Division, the Community Engagement program is headed by Sergeant Shawn Sumner and Community Engagement Officer (CEO) Mark Brown. To request an officer to attend or speak at an event, please fill out the Community Engagement Request Form and return to either Sergeant Sumner or Officer Brown.  For more information, contact either Sergeant Sumner or Officer Brown at 937-426-1225.
