Shakertown Road Extension Public Involvement

The City of Beavercreek in cooperation with the Ohio Department of Transportation would like to invite you to attend a public involvement meeting to discuss the realignment of Shakertown Road to connect with Factory Road and realign Alpha-Bellbrook to connect to the relocated Shakertown Road. The intersection of Shakertown Road and US-35 will be removed with this project as well.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide an update on the project and present the current proposed layout to solicit public comments regarding the proposed improvements and their social, economic, and environmental impacts. Furthermore, the meeting is an opportunity to provide your comments.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, copies of the meeting materials will be available for review at The City of Beavercreek Engineering Office at 1368 Research Park Drive, Beavercreek, OH. Persons who require special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act or persons who require translation services (free of charge) should contact the City of Beavercreek – Engineering Department at (937) 427-5513, at least 7 days prior to the meeting, for arrangements to be made.

In the subject for all comments emailed or sent via mail, please state "GRE-CR71-3.52 PID 100929 Shakertown Road Extension PI Meeting Comments".
Comments must be received by August 18, 2017 to be included in the Public Comment Summary. Also, a summary of public comments received during the public comment period and responses to comments will be prepared and they are expected to be posted on the City of Beavercreek website within 60 days of the above public comment period closure date.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
