The City of Beavercreek will host an open house to gather public input on its thoroughfare plan. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the council chambers at city hall, located at 1368 Research Park Drive.

During the open house, community members will have the opportunity to review and provide feedback on a draft of the city’s updated thoroughfare plan. This plan serves as a long-term strategy to identify the location and type of roadways needed to support the city’s projected growth. Its goal is to consolidate existing road development plans with regional initiatives, pinpoint gaps, and create a comprehensive strategy. Key benefits of the thoroughfare plan include efficient use of infrastructure, clearly defining road functions, and assisting in securing funding for planned improvements. The city updates this plan every five years to ensure it remains aligned with growth and development needs.
