[ARCHIVED] Beavercreek Police: Upcoming CALEA Accreditation Assessment and Public Feedback Opportunity

CALEA

The Beavercreek Police Department is scheduled for a site-based assessment from March 18 to 21, 2024 as part of an ongoing quality performance review. Initially accredited by The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) in 1999, the department’s successful reaccreditation is contingent upon its ability to demonstrate compliance with applicable standards.

The site-based assessor will gather information on how the agency operates in the community and how its policies and procedures complement the mission, purpose, and values of the organization. This assessment will also include observing agency facilities, equipment, personnel, and operations.

People interested in providing feedback on the Beavercreek Police Department's compliance with CALEA standards, community engagement, delivery of public services, and overall candidacy for accredited status are encouraged to leave a comment through CALEA's Public Comment Portal.

The accreditation process underscores the Beavercreek Police Department's commitment to continuous improvement and professional excellence. For more information, visit calea.org.
