[ARCHIVED] City of Beavercreek Hosts Town Halls and Community Conversations to Enhance Community Engagement

The City of Beavercreek is inviting residents to participate in a series of town halls and community conversations aimed at discussing the city’s finances and other important matters. These events offer an opportunity for residents to engage directly with city officials and help shape the future of the City of Beavercreek.

The town halls, which are free and open to the public, will focus on providing detailed information about the city's finances and addressing residents' questions. The sessions are scheduled as follows:

  • Thursday, August 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Main Elementary School, 2942 Dayton-Xenia Road
  • Wednesday, September 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Beavercreek Senior Center, 3868 Dayton-Xenia Road

“These town halls are a great opportunity for our residents to learn more about the financial state of our city and ask any questions they may have,” said City Manager Pete Landrum. “We believe that informed citizens are essential to making thoughtful and impactful decisions for our community.”

Additionally, Beavercreek City Council is hosting a series of Community Conversations with City Council, where residents can meet council members to discuss ideas, projects, and city services. These gatherings will feature food and drinks available for purchase at the respective locations. The scheduled dates and venues are:

  • Tuesday, July 30, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Lofino Plaza, 3868 Dayton-Xenia Road
  • Wednesday, August 7, from noon to 1 p.m. at Old Scratch Pizza, 2450 Dayton-Xenia Road
  • Thursday, August 15, from 6 to 7 p.m. at On Par Entertainment, 4464 Indian Ripple Road
  • Monday, September 16, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Panera Bread, 2751 Fairfield Commons
  • Tuesday, September 10, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Southern Ohio Brewing, 818 Factory Road
  • Friday, September 27, from noon to 1 p.m. at Beavercreek Pizza Dive, 4021 Dayton-Xenia Road

“Community engagement is at the heart of everything we do,” said Mayor Don Adams. “These conversations are a chance for residents to voice their opinions and for us to listen and learn. We look forward to seeing everyone there.”
