For the thirteenth consecutive year, the City of Beavercreek has been honored with the prestigious "Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction" for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, covering the fiscal year ending in 2023. The award, presented on behalf of Ohio State Auditor Keith Faber, recognizes the outstanding work of the City of Beavercreek’s finance team.
The state auditor’s office audits nearly 6,000 entities annually, with only 3 percent meeting the rigorous criteria for this award. To qualify, an entity must submit a clean report, free of significant deficiencies, findings, material citations, weaknesses, single audit findings (grant reporting), and questionable costs.
"Receiving the 'Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction' underscores our city's unwavering dedication to transparent governance and responsible fiscal stewardship," said Landrum. "I appreciate the hard work of our exceptional team for their consistent efforts in upholding the highest standards in financial reporting."
This recognition highlights the City of Beavercreek’s commitment to maintaining exemplary stewardship of residents’ tax dollars and its dedication to adhering to the highest government accounting standards, both now and in the future.
