[ARCHIVED] City of Beavercreek Seeks Public Input on Thoroughfare Plan Update

Community members have until March 7, 2025, to share their feedback on the City of Beavercreek’s updated thoroughfare plan, which is revised every five years to accommodate the city's growing infrastructure needs.

The city’s Engineering and Development departments recently hosted an open house at city hall to gather public input on the plan. Based on feedback received, revisions were made, and the updated plan is now available for review by clicking here.

The thoroughfare plan serves as a long-term strategy to identify necessary roadway locations and types to support the City of Beavercreek’s projected growth. It aims to integrate existing road development plans with regional initiatives, address infrastructure gaps, and establish a comprehensive approach to future road projects. Key benefits of the plan include optimizing infrastructure use, clarifying roadway functions, and aiding in securing funding for planned improvements.

The updated plan will be presented to the Beavercreek City Council during a work session on Monday, March 17, where city staff will seek council feedback. Council will then vote on the plan during a regularly scheduled meeting in the coming weeks.

Residents interested in providing feedback can contact the city’s Planning and Development Department via email at planning@beavercreekohio.gov by Friday, March 7, 2025.
