Due to snow and dangerously low temperatures, the City of Beavercreek will close all non-essential facilities on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, city officials announced.
Facilities closed for the day include Beavercreek City Hall, the Beavercreek Senior Center and Beavercreek Golf Club. All city programs, classes and activities scheduled for Monday have been canceled.
Essential services, including police and public service operations, will continue to operate as normal to ensure public safety and maintain critical services.
Additionally, Beavercreek City Council will convene briefly on Monday, Jan. 26, solely to postpone the evening’s agenda items. No legislation or other council action will be taken at the meeting, except to formally continue the agenda. All agenda items, including any scheduled public hearings, will be moved to Monday, Feb. 2, at 6 p.m.
At this time, the city plans to resume normal operations at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026. Officials will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide updates if plans change.
Residents are encouraged to stay safe, limit travel when possible and follow city communication channels for the latest information.
