Thirty-Four Government agencies respond to help Beavercreek with Tree debris pick up
The City of Beavercreek Public Service Division has been working with 34 different government agencies who sent staff, trucks and equipment to address the tree and brush debris in the neighborhoods impacted by the Memorial Day tornado. Without the massive volunteer assistance in helping move the tree and brush debris to the curb, this would not have been possible. The City of Beavercreek would like to say thank you to:

The City of Beavercreek would also like to thank all of the departments and agencies of Greene County specifically Environmental Services and Sanitary Engineering for their assistance in debris management, staff and equipment. We also would like to thank the Greene County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), Public Health, Mental Health & Recovery Board for their expertise and guidance during and after this emergency.
The City of Beavercreek would like to thank Beavercreek Township for their coordinated efforts to the community for the tornado response. The City and Township worked together to help one another as one Beavercreek community! There will also be many other volunteers, entities, groups and organizations to thank and mention at a later date.
Debris Information
The City has also had up to 10 contractor trucks assisting to remove the tree and brush debris from the roadways. There is still a large amount of tree and brush debris to be picked up however, we are beginning to make progress. Please remember to keep all types of debris behind the curb or in the grass behind the edge of pavement. Tree and brush debris intermixed with trash or construction debris will not be picked up. Residents with comingled debris are encouraged to separate the debris so that the tree and brush debris can be picked up. As we make more progress, a final put-out date will be announced.
Residents may continue to take their tree and brush debris to Greene County Environmental Services on Greeneway Blvd for free during their normal operating hours. They will accept brush at a maximum size of 4 inches diameter and 8 foot long or firewood maximum size of 14 inches in diameter and 18 inches long. The tree and brush debris is accepted for free for residents at the county facility.
Construction debris (anything that could be part of a house) and household trash is not being picked up by the City. We encourage property owners to speak to their insurance company regarding coverage for construction debris disposal. Residents can take construction debris to Xenia Demolition Landfill for a fee. Residents may also take household trash to Montgomery County Transfer Facility, standard rates apply. Please check with both locations about specific requirements for debris and disposal requirements.
