City of Beavercreek Announces 4th of July Parade Grand Marshall

 

The City of Beavercreek 4th of July Committee is proud to announce the 2019 Parade Grand Marshall is Lt. General Jack Hudson (Retired).

General Hudson (Retired) retired from the United States Air Force after serving 36 years in a variety of positions including T-38 instructor pilot, A-10 pilot, instructor pilot, flight examiner and test pilot.    He also served both as Commander of the Aeronautical Systems Center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and as the Director of the National Museum of the USAF in Dayton.    

General Hudson currently volunteers at the museum speaking to youth groups and other visitors about his experience as a pilot.   In his next chapter, he continues to be actively engaged in volunteer work and family activities.  

The community is invited to join us in recognizing Lt. General Jack Hudson (Retired) as he leads the parade as Grand Marshall. The parade begins at 6 pm on July 4th at the intersection of Meadowbridge Drive and Dayton-Xenia Roads.  After the parade, the festivities continue at Rotary Park, 2260 Dayton-Xenia Road with food, entertainment, bounce houses and children’s activities.    UES Fireworks Show will light up the skies at 10 pm.
