Beginning June 1, 2022, AES announced its increasing its electric rates from 4.8 to 10.9 cents per kWh.

The City of Beavercreek would like to remind residents about its electric aggregation program through Dynegy. The goal of the program is to help save residents and small business owners money on their electric bill. Those who enroll in the city’s electric aggregation program will receive a locked-in rate of 4.580 cents per kWh through August 2023.

Beavercreek’s electric aggregation program automatically enrolls residents, but residents have the option to opt-out. If you are a City of Beavercreek resident who has opted out of the program, but would like to rejoin, you can do so any time by calling Dynegy at (888) 682-2170 – be sure to mention the City of Beavercreek’s Electric Aggregation Program. No contracts are required and residents can cancel any time without penalty.

Not sure which company supplies your energy? Check your latest electric bill. If you do not see Dynegy on your bill, then you are likely not enrolled in the city’s electric aggregation program. For additional information about the city’s electric aggregation program, click here.
