[ARCHIVED] Registration Now Open for City of Beavercreek’s Third Annual Citizens Academy

Group of 30 participants of city's citizens academy

Registration is now open for the City of Beavercreek’s third annual Citizens Academy, an eight-week program designed to give residents and business owners an insider’s look at how their city government operates.

The free program, which runs Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m., will take place from Aug. 21 through Oct. 9. Each week’s session will spotlight a different city department or division, including finance, engineering, public service, parks, planning and development, police, and communications. Participants will also attend a session at the Beavercreek Township Fire Department, a vital service for city residents.

The academy offers interactive, behind-the-scenes experiences such as facility tours, equipment demonstrations, and hands-on activities that showcase how city services are delivered.

Space is limited, and organizers ask that participants commit to attending at least five of the seven sessions. Click here more information and to register.
