[ARCHIVED] Beavercreek Citizens Police Academy Wants YOU!!!

If you've ever wondered what a day in the life of a police officer is like or wanted to learn more about the Beavercreek Police Department, now's your chance! Registration is open for Citizens Police Academy Class 15 scheduled for fall 2017.  Conducted by members of the department along with guest speakers from the law enforcement community, the Academy runs from September 13 through November 1, meeting from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.  Participants will learn about all functions of the police department, including legal issues, patrol operations, investigations, and canine unit.  Class members will also have the opportunity for a ride along with patrol officers and a visit to the firearms range.  You must be 18 years or older to apply and must be either a resident or business owner in the City of Beavercreek or Beavercreek Township.  For more information, or to register, contact Academy Commander Sergeant Dan Krall at 937-426-1225 or visit the CPA webpage.  Class size is limited and registration ends August 25, 2017.
