Transportation
The Beavercreek Senior Center’s transportation program helps residents aged 55 and older who live within the City of Beavercreek or Beavercreek Township remain independent and on the go. Membership to the senior center is not required to use this service. The transportation program is administered by the City of Beavercreek’s Parks, Recreation & Culture Division. Daily transportation is staffed by volunteer drivers and escorts, who are trained through the Ohio Department of Transportation.
The center's vans are handicap accessible with lift and ramp capabilities. Transportation inside of city limits is not limited, but transportation outside of city limits is limited to medical appointments only. All rides are first come, first served, but medical appointments always take priority.
We transport to and from:
- Beavercreek Senior Center
- Medical appointments
- Grocery stores
- Malls and shopping centers
- Exercise facilities
- Banks
- Parks
- Restaurants
- Libraries
- Pharmacies
First-time passengers
First-time passengers must call the Senior Center at (937) 426-6166 prior to their first trip. Staff will ask a few simple questions to get new passengers entered into the center’s transportation database.
