Senior Center Volunteer

Senior CenterAre you looking to make a difference in the lives of seniors in our community? Join us as a volunteer and lend a helping hand in various areas of our center.

As a volunteer, you can assist with a range of tasks including checking in members, answering phones, taking transportation reservations, as well as helping members register for classes, events, memberships, and other programs. Volunteers also play a crucial role in maintaining our library by returning books to shelves, ensuring cleanliness, and organizing materials. Additionally, you can support our kitchen operations by taking in food deliveries, serving meals, washing dishes, making coffee, and adhering to health department guidelines.

Volunteers also have the opportunity to supervise activities, serve as instructors for classes, oversee the use of the fitness room, and provide guidance on proper equipment usage. Light cleaning duties, including equipment maintenance and laundering fitness room towels, are also part of the role.

Join us in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our senior community. Your contribution as a volunteer is invaluable!

Transportation Volunteer

Join our team in providing essential transportation for seniors. As a volunteer, you'll be part of a dynamic duo, driving vans equipped to assist seniors without the need for a CDL. Each van team consists of a driver and an escort, ensuring that seniors are safely assisted on and off the van, wheelchairs are secured, trips are tracked using tablets, fees are collected, and more.

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors in our community by volunteering your time and compassion. Join us in ensuring that every senior has access to transportation when they need it most.
