Dayton-Xenia Road Widening Project, PID 115006

Project Description

The City of Beavercreek, in cooperation with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), is evaluating alternatives for widening and improvements to Dayton-Xenia Road between Meadow Bridge Drive and Darlington Drive. 

This project will widen the section of Dayton-Xenia Road from Meadow Bridge to Darlington Drive. The section from Meadow Bridge to Hanes Road will be widened to five lanes for two through lanes in each direction and a center turn lane. The section from Hanes Road to Darlington Drive will taper from five to three lanes at Darlington Drive to include a center turn lane with curb, gutter, and storm sewer. A sidewalk will be included along both sides of the road. 

Project Purpose

This project is necessary to address congestion and safety, as well as improve pedestrian connectivity.
