The City of Beavercreek, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Transportation, are proposing improvements to North Fairfield Road between Kemp Road and Fairwood Drive. Proposed improvements include:
- Widening the existing four through lanes to five lanes (four through lanes and a center two-way left turn lane)
- Installation of an 8-foot-wide side path along the east side of North Fairfield Road
- Curb, gutter, and storm sewer improvement
Project Purpose
The project intends to reduce congestion and improve safety for the traveling public.
Environmental Impacts
A small amount of suitable wooded bat habitat may be impacted by the project; however, any necessary tree removal will occur between October 1 and March 31 to protect these species during their summer roosting period.
Right-of-Way Needs
It is anticipated that this project will require temporary and permanent right-of-way from properties adjacent to the project area. If right-of-way acquisition from your property is necessary, a real estate representative will contact you directly to discuss the acquisition process and your rights under that process.
Maintenance of Traffic
During construction, it is anticipated that a minimum of one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained. Access to all properties will be maintained throughout construction.
Utilities
Utility Impacts are anticipated and will be communicated.
